For some reason, Filezilla stripped out the line breaks when I uploaded the files and this was what was causing this same error to occur.
If this is a child theme, then you can backup your functions.php file and then delete it from your webserver.

I was trying to install a review system WP-Review wharvey @wharvey 1 month, 3 weeks ago I just renamed the offending plug in folder wp-review and all is well. Webform requires PHP 5.3.
