Parse Error Could Not Create Type Webservice


It needed the full [Namespace].[Project].[Class] name. Thanks. add a web service (asmx file) and then remove code file attached with web service file. Check for the WebMethod attribute. I'm suprised it's so hard to test this web service. In my case, leaving the fully qualified namespace did not cause any issue. It seems to boil down to Code Behind not be read properly...
